Torre Thaimaçu carries its climb inside the frame rather than beside it — a switchback stair spiralling down through the lattice, which keeps the structure's footprint tight and gives the whole ascent a sense of being inside the tower rather than bolted to the outside of it.
At 40 metres, the single deck clears the surrounding Amazon canopy with enough margin that the view opens into an unbroken green horizon rather than a gap between specific trees — the kind of clearance that only shows its value on the climb down, looking back up through the stairwell at how far the canopy has already dropped away.
A stair spiralling down through the frame turns the climb itself into the first part of the view, not just the way to reach it.
