MUSA — the Museu da Amazônia, just outside Manaus — is a public research and visitation site, and its tower is built for a different load pattern than a lodge deck: not a small guided group at dawn but a full public crowd, gathered for the same sunrise, at once. Deck sizing and rail layout both answer to that brief before anything else.

At 42 metres over Amazon rainforest, it has become the site's signature vantage point — the platform people plan their visit around, timed to be standing on the deck as the light comes up over the canopy. Suli Engenharia also carried out a structural reform of the nearby ZF-2 tower in Manaus, extending the same care for public-use loading to an existing structure rather than a new build.

A public research tower has to hold a crowd, not just a group — the deck is sized for the sunrise, not the average day.
