Ampara Silvestre sits on the Transpantaneira corridor in the heart of the Pantanal, and it has become something more than a single project: it is the tower neighbouring lodges point to when the conversation turns to building their own. At 20 metres over a landscape of open campo and isolated stands of taller trees, it settled a size that reads as generous without asking a client to build past what the site's own canopy calls for.

That reference-point role turns out to matter commercially as much as structurally — a client who has stood on a tower they already know and liked arrives at the next site conversation with a real benchmark instead of an abstract number, and that usually points toward a smaller, better-matched budget rather than a larger one.

The most useful reference for a new client is rarely a drawing — it's a platform they've already stood on.
